Why the configuration matters
Wheel size, motor output, battery capacity, and drive position are not selected from one universal formula. A rider on level roads has different requirements from a loaded wheelchair model used in hill country.
- Rider and passenger weight
- Wheelchair and equipment weight
- Flat roads versus hills
- Typical riding distance
- Desired controls and seating
Specifications represent available examples from the original R & M information. Final equipment, performance, range, charging time, dimensions, and capacity must be confirmed for the individual build.
Comfort begins with easier entry
The low platform removes the tall center frame and high pedals that can make traditional bicycles difficult to mount.
